k can now add Mile Square Park to her list of "Top Destinations". We picked up a honey mustard chicken sandwich from Quiznos beforehand and had a picnic at the park. It was nice to see other families with the same idea, spending quality time together.
k sportin' her new hat. Yes, it is a *little* big.
There was a bunch of ducks eating nearby. D told k they were eating acorns. :)
The park has a nice path winding around it. We were wondering how long it is, because it seemed like more than a mile!
I'm not sure how this park rates compared to El Dorado. I guess El Dorado has better birds, and it is closer to our house. Parking is $1 cheaper at Mile Square ($5 compared to $6). There were a lot more kids playing sports at Mile Square. Both parks have small lakes that allow fishing, but I would be scared to see any fish that came out of them.
