While this list is not nearly as popular as my Restaurants and Destinations list, I have been working on it over the Christmas and New Years break to ensure it is ready for prime time.
This list highlights Cal Golden Bears and Hoosier Athletics, which includes alumni playing professional sports/Olympics. I focused on football, basketball, and Olympic sports.

How about the (in)famous Bobby Knight for best Hoosier coach? Doesn't his 4 NCAA championships trump Davis' mere NCAA tournament appearances?
Correction - OK, he only won 3 NCAA championships, not 4.
I forgot to mention that I limited the performances to when I attended the universities. So for Cal it was in 1994 and for Indiana it was 2002. That is why I don't have Bobby Knight, Mark Spitz, and Cal Rose Bowl wins in the 20s.
